Dips - don't lean forward while doing them or you will emphasize the chest instead
Diamond Pushups - pushups done with hands close together

I feel a beginner should stick to compound movement to build strength. Squat, Bench Press, Press, pull ups, chin ups should be emphasized rather than movements that isolate a specific muscle. This can be done for about 3 months to up to a year until weekly progression in amount of weights being lifted comes t o a halt.
