I have a question in my mind in morning which is better jogging or running? For how much time should a young guy of 20 should run or jog?

What about skipping? And for how much time is it should be done?
What about a combined programme of jogging, running[sprints] and skipping?

Will be very grateful
Thankyou

Ji,

To begin with, jogging would be a fine approach. One should build up the joints, and the bone stress before enduring high impact running. Aim for 5km, or even 10km.

Skipping is great, one should easily be able to manage 15 minutes worth.

a combined program is even better. The more the variability the more the effect for endurance conditioning.

Thanks Canuck Singh Ji for your reply.
One more question in my mind you mentioned about building up of joints and bone stress before enduring high impact running. Please put some more light on it.

Thankyou

Do you have specific aims or are you just asking generally? Eg are you looking to drop some weight/cut up? If so how much do you weigh, training routine and what does your eating plan look like?
