Cardio twice a day better

Interestingly, it appears you don't have to double the amount of training you perform. Just halve your usual 30 minute cardio session into two 15 minute sessions per day and you'll nearly double the benefits.

Researchers at the University of Kansas investigated this topic and published the results in Canadian Journal of Physiology, 23:433-443, 1998. The scientists got 18 male subjects to perform two different training sessions, both of high intensity. On the first occasion the subjects exercised for 30 minutes and on another occasion they exercised for two 15-minute sessions separated by six hours.

To measure the amount of calories burned after a bout of exercise, post-exercise oxygen consumption oxygen (EPOC) consumption is often used. Although the total training time and intensity level was the same in each of the workouts when the men performed the two shorter sessions, their EPOC was higher; 7.4 liters of oxygen compared to 5.3 liters. That is a very big difference.

As you said according to researchers cardio twice in a day more effective as compared to once in a day and data you shared about is simply awesome..
